EUPART is a TEMPUS funded project that aims to establish four
technology-transfer offices in four Egyptian universities.
Typically it takes five to ten years for technology transfer
offices to start generating revenues or royalties, consequently
these offices have to operate efficiently to be able to survive.
The project goal is developing a mechanism to bridge the gap
between the university/academia and the industry. Hence, Faculty
members, administrators and students will be educated about
technology transfer, and the capacity-building skills of staff
members will be enhanced. In addition, an awareness program will
target all stakeholders, and an e-learning module will facilitate
the knowledge transfer that will be acquired during the project.
