Objectives of SBAM (Egypt)
- The promotion of scientific awareness and interest of fungi in Egypt, inside and outside the Arab world, and Africa.
- Publish an annual scientific research Journal in the following areas of fungi: Physiology - Ecology - Classification - Biodiversity - Molecular Biology - Biotechnology - Plant diseases - Diseases of humans and animals.
- Organization of Scientific Conferences periodically every three years where specialized scientists from many parts of the world convene to exchange data and ideas in the above fields of fungi.
- Strengthen the link between the mycologists working in the fields of basic, agricultural, medical, veterinary and pharmaceutical sciences in Egypt and other countries.
